WHAT A YEAR!

Well, what can I say? Been a strange year, some ups, some downs. I opened my new studio, and in all honesty it has gone better than I expected. I did expect to open and have tumbleweed start flying past within a week! Luckily, that didn't happen, and I have met some fantastic new customers, and welcomed back some 'old' customers. So good to see so many people come back, even after 10-15 years! All I can say is I must've done something right...

But, it certainly hasn't been easy the past few months. Things slowed down. Bookings dried up, and I will admit that I was questioning whether I would still be going next year, and not for the first time! But, December has perked up, after some serious thinking about what else I can do. I have customers who just keep me afloat, and I'm so grateful to you all.

I'm still keeping two jobs going (yes, I have a part time job to keep my 'proper' job going), and hope one day I can get back to pre-covid days, and get my waiting list back and finally go back to just one job again. Six days a week does get exhausting. But, I'm a stubborn git, and I'm not giving up yet. I love my little studio, and I love the environment surrounding it, and I am determined to give it my all. I know this is a strange blog to start with, but I think what i'm trying to say is, thank you. Thank you to all of you.

Have a cracking Christmas, all of you.
